Maasai Mara tour

Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha.

This tour will have you visit incredible national parks and give you the chance to get out and  experience the East African savannah.

Day 1

Pick up at 7:00 AM and drive to the Great Rift Valley that hosts Mount Longonot, the Suswa Ranges among other geographical formations and beautiful sceneries. 

We'll drive down the escarpment with a 15 min stop at the Rift Valley view point to take in the views. We will arrive at your hotel at 11:00 AM then Check in, rest and Depart for the Menengai Cater and Mau Mau Caves. The Crater is an exciting attraction that provides a unique insight into Kenya’s history. It is believed that the crater is a historic battle ground for the different Maasai clans. After the cater, we will drive to the Nakuru park which is famous for Flamingos, visiting the lake to feed on algae that forms on the lake bed. They move back and forth, feeding and occasionally taking to the skies, filling it with pink colour. 

We will then head back to the hotel for the night's rest, as we get ready for day 2.

Day 2

After breakfast, we'll leave Nakuru for Mara, arriving in time for lunch followed an evening Game Drive. The Mara reserve is 1510 km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife.

The game drive will conclude after sunset where we'll head back to the hotel for dinner and a night's rest. 

Day 3

After Breakfast enjoy a morning to noon safari with an option to visit the Maasai Village in the evening. Visiting the village will allow you to experience the Maasai culture at its best. You'll also enjoy songs and dances that are hundreds of years old in an interactive experience that we hope you can dance and jump along too! 

After the performance, some of the village members take you into their homestead for a private tour where you will learn everything about the Maasai homesteads, including how they are built and why they have unique designs.
Day 4

Spend full day in search of the wildlife that makes this one of Africa's premier National Parks. The Masai Mara is especially famous for its Large Cat population and also the fact that it plays an integral role in the July to early September Wildebeest Migration.
Day 5

Early Morning departure to Lake Naivasha, Arriving at noon for a 1 hr boat Safari in search of Hippos and later, a nature walk at the amazing Cresent Island, an island in the middle of the lake that's home to many animal and plant species.
Day 6

Morning Departure to Amboseli - the park with the largest elephant population. You will arrive in time for lunch, have lunch then proceed to an afternoon game drive, staying late to watch the golden shades of the Amboseli sun set and experience the wildlife that is unique to the park.
Day 7

Wake up early to watch the breathtaking sun rise on Mt. Kilimanjaro whose peak is visible from the Amboseli. 

After Breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive to noon returning to your hotel for lunch and later a nature walk. overnight at your lodge
Day 8

We'll have an early morning breakfast in readiness for our return to Nairobi, where we'll be expected to arrive by noon.
